Cal Water Taps Marc Bloom as New Manager Of King City District

KING CITY, Calif.—California Water Service Company (Cal Water) announced today that Marc Bloom has been named as the new Local Manager of the utility's King City District. Bloom has been with Cal Water for nine years and has extensive hands-on experience in water distribution, operations, and treatment systems.

Bloom was the Acting Local Manager in King City in 2013 and is familiar with the district's water system and community. He comes to King City from the company's Salinas District, which oversees King City operations.

Bloom holds Grade III Water Distribution certification and Grade II Water Treatment Operation certification, and is a Certified Cross-Connection Specialist.

Given his years of experience and connection with the local community, Marc is the perfect person to manage the King City District," said Salinas and King City District Manager Mike Jones.
