California Water Service Starts Main Installation Project in Marysville District
MARYSVILLE, Calif.— California Water Service (Cal Water) will begin a main installation project this week in its Marysville District, which will improve water service and infrastructure reliability near the River Front Park area. Almost 1,300 feet of new water mains will be installed on Pine Street from 4th to 5th Streets and on J Street from 5th to 6th Streets and on 5th Street from Olive to I Streets.
Construction is scheduled for Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Additionally, most homes and businesses within the project area will receive new, individual water service lines. This critical infrastructure improvement project is scheduled to be completed in early June 2018.

"The new water mains will ensure water service for our customers stays dependable, both for everyday and emergency needs now and into the future."
Cal Water serves about 12,200 people through 3,700 service connections in Marysville. The utility has provided water service in the area since 1930. Additional information may be obtained online at www.calwater.com.
